The Story
My "tablescape" (the term "tablescape" reminds me a bit too much of Sandra Lee, but considering it's not just orange juice in those glasses, that might be appropriate).
My mom, my friend Fan and I hosted a gluten free and dairy free Easter brunch for nine today. Click through for more pictures and information!
The Food
Our lovely table.
Vermont maple sausage.
Warm potato salad with bacon, kale, and a mustard dressing.
Mini frittatas with spinach, onion, and sage.
Fruit salad with strawberries, bananas, honeydew, and mineola oranges.
Roasted Brussels sprouts with garlic.
This is a dessert tray a small child gunning for diabetes would construct, but it contains my coconut macaroon thumbprints with homemade raspberry chia jam and my mother's homemade dark chocolate peanut butter balls.
No recipes yet, but look forward for details on how to make:
- Maple-Cinnamon Quinoa Cereal with Flax
- Coconut Macaroon Thumbprints with Raspberry Chia Jam
- Warm Potato Salad with Kale, Bacon and Mustard Vinaigrette
- Baby Frittatas with Spinach, Onion and Sage
